The Ovarian Assessment Report looks at multiple hormones from a single blood sample and a woman’s age. Using a special formula, the test combines this information and calculates the Egg Retrieval Score (ERS) for a woman. The ERS predicts how many eggs a woman is likely to produce after ovarian stimulation. These numbers range from one to 20. Higher numbers suggest that a patient has a larger ovulatory egg supply. It also suggests that she is more likely to respond well to medication for stimulation.
